Folio is a product of Polsia, Inc. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Folio, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

What data we collect

When you use Folio, we may collect:

• Email address — provided voluntarily when you choose to save and share your offer. This is optional; you can skip email capture entirely.
• Offer content — the expertise, audience, and pricing inputs you provide to generate your offer, along with the AI-generated offer itself.
• Usage data — anonymous page views and funnel events (e.g., "builder started," "offer created") for product analytics. No personal identifiers are attached.

We do not collect payment information directly. Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use your data

We use your email address for two purposes:

• Transactional — to send you a permanent link to your offer so you can share it with clients.
• Product updates — occasional emails about Folio improvements or new features. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (a US-based cloud provider). We use standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS) and access controls.

Your rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe — click the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or reply to any Folio email with "unsubscribe."
• Request deletion — email us at closestudio@polsia.app to have your data deleted.
• Request a copy — email us to receive a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Cookies

Folio does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We may use a session cookie to maintain state during your builder session.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Folio evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Folio after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
